Job purpose |
The Brand Executive is responsible for supporting the development, execution, and evaluation of brand marketing strategies and initiatives across the Food and Beverage divisions. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role ensures consistent brand messaging, positioning, and visibility across all channels in alignment with the company’s strategic goals. The incumbent will play a key role in driving brand awareness, market penetration, and customer engagement through effective campaign planning, market analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. |
Key responsibilities |
1. Market Research Management: o 4Ps (Product, Price, Place and Promotion), market share, trends etc. analysis on category of products, inclusive of competing brands. o Consumer research: Buying & consuming behaviours, trends etc. o Media research: Landscape, usage, consumption, trends etc. TV/Radio/OOH/Digital/Print etc. o Identify opportunities in the category which involves forecasting consumer foresight and insights and any opportunities or threats emerging from the competitive or technology landscape. 2. Market Development Management: To assist the sales team to develop the untapped territories/markets. o New market development – new markets, new wholesale, new retail, new channel of sales. o New consumer development 3. Marketing Activities Management: ATL, BTL and TTL (Digital) a. ATL: Above the line o Plan and execute ATL campaign – TV, Radio, OOH, Print Media. b. BTL: Below the line: o Market activation – Design and execute trade engagement programmes, sampling etc. o Promotional activity – Conduct trade and consumer promotional activities. o Branding – Come up with innovative ideas and executive to branding the trade outlets, traders, with POS (Point of Sales) materials. c. TTL: Through the line: Digital o Awareness and engagement campaign in social media platforms. FB, INSTA, TIK TOK, YOUTUBE etc. d. Monthly reports o All marketing activities reports to be presented on the 2nd/3rd working day of the 1st week of next month. e. All documentation: o to be done – quotation, PO, SRN/GRN, payment etc. f. Market Visits and Works: o Monthly journey plan with objectives. o Market visit and execute planned jobs. 4. NPD (New Product Development) Management: o Develop and executive the launch of new products. o Push strategy: Execute GTM (Go-To-Market). o Pull strategy: Create demand addressing – Awareness, Engagement and Association 5. 3rd Party Management: o Maintain relationships with distributing partners vendors and agencies to ensure collaboration in promotional activities, POSM. o Design of creatives. 6. Brand Equity and P&L Management: o Brand wise P&L management: Prepare budget, execution and monitoring of expenses. o Improve brand’s share of voice o Improve brand’s equity 7. Business Needs Management: To meet the business needs as required. o Achieve sales target, through marketing support. o Achieve the brand profit. o Achieve KPI |
Key Qualifications & Requirements |
o Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications o Minimum 5 years’ experience in Brand Management o MBA in marketing added advantage Key Competencies: o Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools o Working knowledge of HTML and design and email software o Experience in budgeting and forecasting o Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing o Experience using data analytics software for research o Excellent communication and presentation skills o Strong analytical skills to derive trends/projections/forecasts o MS office skills o Strong communication o Strong in creativity o Accept responsibility for resolving a problem to its final conclusion o Assist in the achievement and the on-going improvement of business results o Show dissatisfaction with poor performance and drive processes to achieve business goals o Apply a systematic problem-solving approach to identify causes, explore alternatives and recommend the best course of action to resolve the problem now and into the future o Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities o Ability to express views, in a constructive manner o Self-confidence o Self-motivated o Ownership and accountability o Goal-orientated o Attention to detail |
